Andy Schiller

"An honest and kind realtor. Willing to take his time to find exactly what you're looking for. Response time very fast. An awesome realtor." - Kim

I have enjoyed living in The Shores neighborhood near Macintosh Lake since 2003. I began my real estate career in 2005. I manage my own rental properties in Colorado and Michigan, and have sold several of my own homes through 8z's California Listing Style at above list price.

In 2006, I participated in a charitable community outreach program for pregnant women in jail. I bought a house in Arvada for an expectant mother and her parents. Her family moved in on a rent-to-own basis. She had her baby and was able to be with her family instead of behind bars. She eventually worked a steady job. The family bought the house before the baby’s first birthday. I was happy to help them and did not need to make a profit on the transaction.

I bought a home in Longmont near Golden Ponds, and it was nearly destroyed in the flood of 2013. My family and I were rescued by the National Guard in a boat, and we lost almost all our possessions. I gutted the home and performed an extensive remodel with the help of many generous Longmont residents who gave their time and labor. Many friends, as well as strangers, donated clothes and shoes to help me during this troubling time. Ever grateful, I have made connections in the community that will last a lifetime.

I was a prodigy in music from a very young age. I performed in Carnegie Hall by age 19, and was Professor of Music at two Universities by age 22. I have performed classical guitar in Italy, France, and Brazil, and have studied at Julliard, Yale, the University of Denver, the Aspen Music Festival, and the Rome Festival Orchestra. I previously taught guitar lessons at Robb’s Boulder Music and the Rocky Mountain Center for Musical Arts for over a decade. I play acoustic guitar on the shores of Lake McIntosh every Monday, and I'm known as the Acoustic Agent.

I returned to my home state of Michigan for 2 years to care for my elderly mother. There I worked full time as a Realtor in the competitive Ann Arbor market, where I now two historic homes from the 1860s. My latest restoration has absolutely stunning before/after photos of the marble fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows, and sliding door walls.

Now a resident of Longmont once again, I focus on the Single Family Residential Market. An experienced remodeler, I can help you decide which improvements to your home will result in the highest resale value. I also enjoys soccer, building miniature architecture, and astrophotography. My wife is an expert hair colorist, and my 5-year-old daughter wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up.

It was a pleasure to work with Andy Schiller. A very kind person, assisting me with a lot of time and dedication to get the house that I was looking for and not a home to buy quickly. Mr. Schiller was diligent about finding the perfect home, that would fit my needs, as well as working with me to find the perfect community for my family and I. With no pressure attached, he showed me several homes and provided education and experience toward this task. Andy eased the stress of seeking a house and went above and beyond while assisting me with the leg work. His incredible patience with me was profoundly appreciated as well as his knowledge toward home buying.

Andrew is very knowledgeable and is very eager to help in anyway he can. He showed me some houses in my area and completed a Competitive Market Analysis on my house and property. When I list my house Andrew will be my Realtor! Thanks Andy!
